I am attempting to become a thrifty shopper and be a coupon cutter. However, is this overwhelming to anyone else??
I am looking online and registering for coupons and samples on all these different sites and Good Lord, I even found a website that cuts the coupons for you and sends them to you for a small handleing fee.
BUT I will say that I have become more motivated that in the past when the other day I was standing in line to check out at Target and the lady in front of me puchased $58.00 worth of stuff for only $21.00. I saw how she did it and it clicked. I have heard all the people saying how much they had saved and that it could be done and watched the lady on tv, however, when I saw that lady get away with that much of a discount, I knew that it was something that I just had to try!! So I am overcoming this overwhelming feeling and purchasing a coupon organizer in the morning at Walmart and am going to attempt to become the thrifty shopper that I can be.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE HELPFUL AND APPRECIATED!!!

Have you checked out my blog? Not too long ago I posted some links I use for couponing and some tips some ladies at church gave out. They're mostly in my September posts, and there's one in August. Hope they help, 'cause they've sure helped me!
ReplyDeleteDanielle - I did check out your blog and some of the links. Some of them were very helpful and some confusing, but by now I am figuring my own system, we just don't have a publix or a kroger to take advantage of all the savings, and I usually don't have time to drive all the way to Huntsville, because we live south of Arab. But thanks a bunch. BTW - sorry I haven't gotten back on this, but slow me just figured out how to check my comments.
